This group is dedicated to foxes of all kinds, and the art that people create about these wonderful animals. You may submit as much art as you like so long as it is fox related. Art also includes photography so if you have any cool photos of foxes you may upload those as well. Please use your own discretion when it comes to questionable art, but if it pushes the guidelines of dA, don't be surprised if it's removed. Anyone may submit favorite so long as it's fox related. Please enjoy this wonderful group and drop by whenever you want! Rules!: 1.) You only get ONE, and I can not emphasize this enough, ONE automatically accepted feature as soon as you join! If you submit a whole bunch at once, the first one you submit will be accepted, and ALL OTHERS will be denied! 2.) Please submit all deviations to what you feel is the best folder for your work. 3.) For submissions to the Featured folder after your first automatic, please see the guidelines below! 4.) Only three submissions a week please! This is to cut down on the traffic our watchers and members might be getting in their inboxes. New Rules For Art Theft 1.) If you submit stolen art, it will be declined with a message explaining why. Your art will then be reported, and/or the artist notified. 2.) If you've tried to submit stolen art in the past, you will no longer to be able to submit art to the group. This rule may, or may not change depending on the reaction to this one. But for now, if you submit stolen art, you will be banned from submitting art. Folder Rules: What Goes Where These double both as rules when submitting to folders, and explaining what goes where. Digital: All works that have been digitally made. This excludes works that could go in the following folders: Hyrbrids, Kitsune, Anthro, Photography, Stamps, and Sculpture Traditional: All works that have been traditionally made. This means anything painted, drawn on paper, etc. This folder excludes works that could go in the following folders: Digital, Kitsune, Hybrid, Anthro, Cartoon, Photography, Animation, Stamps, and Sculpture. Kitsune: Everyone has their own interpretation of what a kitsune is, but the group follows this definition: A kitsune is a fox with multiple tails, portrayed in both the vulpine and human form. Meaning if your fox only has one tail, it can not be considered a kitsune by this rule. However, in respect to everyone's personal definition as to what a kitsune is, we accept foxes with only one tail if they seem to exhibit magical powers, and/or other supernatural abilities. No matter the media, if your submission has a kitsune in it, and ONLY a kitsune, you must submit it to this folder. This folder excludes: Anthro, Hybrid, Photography, Sculpture, and Stamps Anthro: Using examples from our gallery, the group's definition of an anthro is this: If it is a fox standing on two legs, has thumbs, and is acting as a person would (like wearing clothes, or driving a car), it belongs in this gallery. No matter the media, a submission with an anthro fox goes here. (We apologize to anyone with furry submissions, or feels that this definition isn't correct. Please note the group if you'd like to help us define this folder more!) This folder excludes: Hybrids, Kitsune, Photography, Sculpture, and Stamps Hybrids: If the fox has wings, is mixed with another animal, or has horns, it is considered a hybrid. AN EEVEE AND ANY EEVEELUTIONS ARE HYBRIDS. No matter the media, your hybrid submission goes here. This folder excludes: Kitsune, Anthro, Photography, Sculpture, and Stamps. Fox And...: Any submission that has a fox and another animal in it. This includes people. No matter the media, if the submission has anything other then a fox in it, it goes here. This folder excludes: Hyrbrids, Kitsune, Anthro, Photography, Stamps, and Sculpture Cartoon: The group is still trying to figure out what a cartoon submission REALLY is, but for now, we're keeping this folder as is. A cartoon submission can be any media, and any style. This folder excludes: Hyrbrids, Kitsune, Anthro, Photography, Stamps, and Sculpture Photography: If it's a photograph, it goes here. It doesn't matter what the content is, whether it be an actual fox, or a cosplay. If it is a photograph of a fox and another animal, it STILL goes in this folder. This folder excludes: Digital, Traditional, Stamps, and Sculpture Sculpture: If it's a craft, or a true sculpture, it goes here. JEWELRY GOES HERE AS WELL. It doesn't matter if it's a scarf, or a necklace, the submission goes to this folder. This folder excludes: Digital, Traditional, Stamps, Hyrbrids, Kitsune, Anthro, Animation, and Photography Animation: If the submission moves, it goes here. It doesn't matter the content, the media, or the style. This folder excludes: Stamps Stamps: If the submission is a stamp, it goes here. It doesn't matter the conent, the media, the style, or if it moves. This folder excludes: Digital, Traditional, Stamps, Sculpture,Hyrbrids, Kitsune, Anthro, Animation, and Photography Featured Folder Submission Guidelines  The subject of the submission must be a fox. The submission must be fully colored. This means no line-art, or unfinished works. The submission must have a complex background. A forest, a seascape, or a city are examples of this. No one color or gradient backgrounds will be accepted. The submission must exhibit great skill with the media. It must be pleasing to the viewer.How To Submit Art To The Gallery! Step One! Click on the "Gallery" link on the main page. Step Two! Find the folder you want to submit to, and click on the plus sign (+) on the far right hand corner of the folder. Step Three! Select an artwork from your gallery, and press the "Okay" button. Step Four! Wait! Artwork being accepted into the folder depends on a voting system. Don't worry though, we're not picky here so long as you're submitting to the right folder.  |
